ICE Field Offices Map
ICE is organized into regional Field Offices that coordinate enforcement, raids, arrests, and deportations. Mapping these offices is essential for tracking where authority is concentrated and how operations are directed.
Why It Matters
- Regional command structure: Each Field Office directs local ERO agents, targets, and priorities
- Trends and activity: Surge in raids or removals often aligns with specific offices
- Local accountability: Tying agents or cases back to field offices helps communities focus accountability efforts
Field Office Regions
ICE divides the US into 24 Field Office regions. Each one is responsible for a defined geographic area and usually oversees multiple detention centers and regional operations. Below is a partial list (full list should be included on the final page with map visuals):
- Boston
- Newark
- New York City
- Philadelphia
- Baltimore
- Atlanta
- Chicago
- Detroit
- Dallas
- Houston
- Los Angeles
- San Francisco
- Denver
- Seattle
- Miami
- Tucson
- El Paso
Each region should have its own page linking to:
- Director information
- Known operations and documented abuses
- Associated detention centers and private contractors
- Related FOIA records
How to Use This Map
- Locate the field office responsible for a known raid, deportation, or policy shift
- Check the office page for:
- Command structure
- Patterns of abuse
- Contracting companies or local collaborators
- Use these links to trace chains of command and build accountability profiles
Mapping Plans
This page will be updated with a full interactive or static map marking all ICE Field Offices, color-coded by:
- Volume of reported abuses
- Presence of 287(g) collaborations
- Private detention contracts
Each office marker will link to its own documentation page. Volunteers can submit new info about field offices, directors, or regional trends via the Submit Information form.
